Founded in 2004, KenSAP began as a grassroots initiative to assist gifted students from educationally neglected areas of western Kenya in gaining admission to prestigious universities. With the support of founders Mike Boit and John Manners, and financial backing from Charles Field-Marsham, KenSAP has expanded its mission to provide access to higher education for talented students across Kenya.
KenSAP has successfully placed 297 students in selective colleges and universities, securing over $85 million in educational aid. Many graduates return to Kenya, contributing to various sectors and pursuing advanced degrees, including 18 PhDs.
