Our Story

Founded in 1930 after a tragic train accident, Scout Leaders Rescue emerged from the efforts of local hero Howard Gatley. Established by the Kenosha Boy Scout Council and the Red Cross, this organization has evolved into an independent non-profit ambulance service provider, dedicated to serving the community with a team of state-certified Emergency Medical Technicians who volunteer their time.
