Our Story

The Kellen Cares Foundation was born from a profound tragedy. After the heartbreaking loss of Kellen Erickson to suicide at just 19 years old, his family recognized the urgent need for mental health support for boys and young men. Kellen, a vibrant and well-liked individual, struggled silently with anxiety and depression, a battle that ultimately led to his untimely death. This devastating experience ignited a passion to educate and advocate for mental health awareness, aiming to prevent other families from enduring similar pain.

Our Impact

Through community involvement, the foundation strives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental illness while funding essential research and programs. The goal is to equip young men with the necessary tools and resources to navigate their mental health challenges.
