Our Story

Keep Pensacola Beautiful has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Escambia County for over 40 years. Originally founded in 1979 as Clean & Green, the organization evolved into a Keep America Beautiful affiliate in 1995. This transformation allowed for a broader focus on environmental challenges, including education, litter reduction, and recycling initiatives. Through advocacy, partnerships with local businesses, and community involvement, Keep Pensacola Beautiful strives to create a healthier, more beautiful environment for all residents.

Our Impact

From 2017 to 2021, Keep Pensacola Beautiful removed over 1.4 million pounds of litter, engaged thousands of volunteers, and educated nearly 1,000 students. The organization has also planted 155 trees and supported numerous Adopt-A-Spot groups, collecting over 11,500 pounds of waste.
