Our Story
Kedren Community Health Center, Inc. was founded in 1965 by Dr. James L. Jones, MD, in response to the Watts uprising. The organization began with a focus on community-based psychiatric services and has evolved to provide integrated health and behavioral health services to diverse populations in South Los Angeles.

Over its 55-year history, Kedren Health has significantly improved access to mental health and primary care services for thousands of families and individuals in South Los Angeles.
