Our Story

Katie's Krops began with a 9-year-old girl named Katie Stagliano, who grew a 40-pound cabbage for a school project. Inspired by the impact of donating her cabbage to a soup kitchen, Katie started a movement to empower youth to grow vegetable gardens and donate the harvest to those in need. Today, over 100 gardens across the country are part of this initiative, focusing on alleviating hunger and inspiring community involvement.

Impact

Since 2009, Katie's Krops has donated over 700,000 pounds of fresh produce, serving more than 105,000 meals through community dinners and engaging thousands of youth in gardening initiatives.

Why Donate?

Your contributions to Katie's Krops support youth empowerment, community engagement, and the fight against hunger. Donations help sustain gardens that provide fresh produce to families in need, fostering responsibility and connection among young growers.
