Founded in 2003, the Kathleen Sutton Fund began as a grassroots initiative to support women battling breast cancer in North Kitsap County. In memory of Kathleen Sutton, who faced overwhelming travel costs for her treatment, the organization has expanded its reach to assist women with any type of cancer across Clallam, Jefferson, Kitsap, and Mason counties. The Fund alleviates the financial burden of transportation, ensuring that women can access vital medical care.

Since its inception, the Kathleen Sutton Fund has provided over $1,000,000 in transportation reimbursements, helping more than 1,700 women in their fight against cancer.
