Kassunga Mission Initiative (KMI) is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for the rural village of Kassunga, Uganda. Founded from the Kassunga Mission Ministry at the Church of the Epiphany in North Chesterfield, Virginia, KMI emerged after a 2016 exploratory trip to assess the needs of the St. Teresa Learning Center. Since its incorporation as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2018, KMI has focused on educational initiatives and community support.
Kassunga Mission Initiative has made remarkable progress in improving education and access to clean water in Kassunga. By supporting the St. Teresa Learning Center, KMI provides essential resources, medical clinics, and fresh water access, significantly enhancing the villagers' quality of life.
