The Karat School Project was founded by Evelyne Keoman in November 2017, inspired by her own experiences with poverty and limited educational opportunities in Ivory Coast. After relocating to the U.S. with her son, Evelyne dedicated herself to giving back to her community by ensuring that children, especially girls, receive quality education.
KSP aims to break the cycle of poverty through education, providing a skills-based curriculum and community support to children and women in extreme poverty, fostering sustainable change in their lives.
