In 1973, a group of friends at Hogerty’s Cocktail Lounge in Kansas City ignited a tradition by organizing the first St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 15, 1974. Led by Daniel Thomas Hogerty, this event has blossomed into one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day parades in the nation, celebrating Irish heritage and fostering community spirit.
