Our Story

Kalihi-Palama Health Center (KPHC) began as a walk-in free clinic in 1975, located in the basement of Kaumakapili Church. Established to serve poor Native Hawaiians and immigrants, KPHC has evolved into a Federally Qualified Community Health Center, dedicated to addressing healthcare access barriers for new Americans and their families.

Impact

Each year, KPHC serves over 20,000 patients, offering comprehensive healthcare and social services to vulnerable populations, including the homeless and those facing language and cultural challenges.
