Our Story

Founded in 1994 by Mike Freeman, Kaizen Volleyball Development Club is one of the oldest volleyball clubs in Oklahoma. The club is dedicated to developing amateur athletes and coaches, focusing on both girls’ and boys’ programs. The philosophy of Kaizen emphasizes teamwork, self-confidence, and leadership skills, ensuring that athletes excel both on and off the court. In 2019, the club reorganized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, continuing to uphold Coach Freeman's vision of accessibility and excellence in volleyball.

Kaizen Volleyball Club is committed to making competitive volleyball accessible to all eligible players, regardless of their financial situation. Scholarships and discounts are available to support athletes in need, with applications reviewed by the Board of Directors.
