Justice in Motion

Our Story

Founded in 2005 by farmworker lawyer and human rights advocate Cathleen Caron, Justice in Motion addresses the crisis faced by abused migrant workers who are often denied access to the justice system. By forming a Defender Network of human rights lawyers and nonprofit organizations across Central America, Justice in Motion collaborates with U.S. lawyers on legal cases and advocacy projects for migrants.

Impact

Each year, Justice in Motion defends the rights of thousands of migrants, including parents separated from their children at the U.S. border and workers exploited by U.S. employers. With significant funding, the organization has strengthened its policy advocacy and legal support.
