Our Story

The Justice Center of Atlanta, Inc. was founded in 1977 as a pioneering nonprofit organization aimed at transforming the way disputes are resolved. Originating from a national initiative led by Attorney General Griffin Bell, the center has evolved from the Neighborhood Justice Centers concept, focusing on mediation and arbitration as alternatives to traditional court systems. Over the years, it has successfully mediated over 95,000 cases, establishing a national reputation for excellence in mediation training.
