Justice at Work

Our Story

Founded in 2011 by a dedicated group of Boston-area organizers and attorneys, Justice at Work emerged from a shared vision to provide essential legal support to immigrant worker centers. The organization was born from a simple dinner conversation, aiming to strengthen the rights of workers through collective action and legal representation.

Impact

Since its inception, Justice at Work has served over 20 grassroots worker organizations, providing legal services to more than 2,200 workers and recovering over $11.2 million in wages. Annually, the organization trains over 150 workers and organizers, empowering them to advocate for their rights.
