Just Media is a nonprofit organization founded in 2020, serving as a national hub for storytelling about justice issues. By empowering young, directly impacted writers, Just Media reflects the realities of their communities, particularly in relation to criminal justice reform.
Since its inception, Just Media has hosted four fellowship cohorts, supporting 42 writers from 27 cities across the country. Over 90% of fellows are Black or brown writers aged 18-24, emphasizing the importance of representation in media.
