Our Story
Officially formed in 1955, Junior Welfare Society has been a beacon of hope in Broward County since receiving its 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status in 1963. This all-volunteer organization specializes in providing one-time emergency assistance to individuals and families facing unexpected hardships. Referrals come from various social service organizations, churches, and temples, ensuring that help reaches those who need it most.
