Founded in 1940, the Junior League of Spartanburg, Inc. began with a vision from local women who recognized the need for community support. Originally known as the Junior Charity League of Spartanburg, it has grown to over 300 members dedicated to making a difference. As a proud member of The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc., JLS has contributed over 1.8 million volunteer hours and invested more than $2 million into vital community programs.
