Our Story

The Junior League of Odessa was founded in June 1948 by a group of passionate young women dedicated to addressing the social needs of their community. Initially known as the Junior Service League of Odessa, this organization began with 15 charter members focused on volunteer efforts for local welfare agencies. In 1977, it became the 232nd Junior League in the Association of Junior Leagues International. Today, the Junior League of Odessa continues to thrive, raising over $6.5 million and contributing countless volunteer hours to enhance community projects.
