Our Story

The Junior League of Atlanta’s legacy began in 1916 with a small group of 45 women dedicated to improving the lives of women and children in Atlanta. Over the years, this organization has grown to nearly 3,500 strong, tackling pressing issues such as generational poverty, commercial sexual exploitation, and early childhood education.

Impact

For over a century, the Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. has been a powerful advocate for women and children in Georgia. The League played a pivotal role in passing the Safe Harbor Act in 2016, which provided critical protections for victims of sex trafficking.
