Our Story

Founded by Kari Bagnall, Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary was born from a deep compassion for monkeys. After witnessing the distress of a baby monkey separated from its mother, the sanctuary was established to rescue and rehabilitate New World monkeys, primarily those retired from laboratory research or rescued from the exotic pet trade.

Impact

Jungle Friends has successfully rescued over 200 monkeys, offering them a safe and nurturing environment where they can thrive and socialize with their own species.
