Julie’s Friends was founded in memory of a beloved cat named Julie, who was discovered in a dumpster and later diagnosed with cancer. The emotional and financial burden of Julie's medical care inspired founders Lisa and Diego Harrison to ensure that no other family faces similar challenges. This nonprofit is dedicated to helping low-income families afford non-emergency medical care for their pets, allowing them to live longer, healthier lives.
