Our Story

Joyful Ventures was founded by Billy and Briley Weikel after experiencing profound loss due to unforeseen diseases, including breast cancer and Non Ketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH). The passing of Brianna Weikel in 2015 and her son Barclay in 2017 ignited a passion to help families facing similar struggles. This nonprofit is dedicated to spreading awareness, funding research, and providing support to those affected by these devastating illnesses.

Our Impact

Through various events, Joyful Ventures aims to bring joy to families impacted by disease. Each year, the board selects organizations to receive funding, ensuring that proceeds are split equally between breast cancer and NKH initiatives. The commitment to making a difference remains steadfast, as the organization continues to support families in need.
