Demetrius, an educator with a passion for helping students, has dedicated his career to fostering partnerships between educators and families. Inspired by his mother, a teacher who moved mountains to support her students, he has worked in various educational settings across the United States, including Indianapolis, Washington, D.C., and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our Impact

The Joy Education Foundation aims to identify students’ reading strengths and needs, providing tailored instruction to enhance their reading skills. Through systematic and explicit teaching methods, students improve their word recognition, fluency, spelling, and comprehension.
