Our Story
Journey Out, formerly known as The Mary Magdalene Project, was established in June 1980 through a grant from the Presbyterian Women of America. Inspired by Reverend Ross Greek of West Hollywood Presbyterian Church, the organization began its mission to support prostituted women in the local area. Over the years, Journey Out has expanded its services to include youth prevention programs, emergency support, crisis counseling, and harm reduction initiatives, adapting to the evolving needs of those affected by trafficking.
