Founded in 2014 by Shannon Miller-Cox, Journey of Hope Inc. is dedicated to providing trauma-informed care and support for women, girls, and LGBTQIA+ individuals fleeing domestic violence, sexual abuse, and human trafficking. Operating in Salt Lake City and across Utah, the organization focuses on case management, social advocacy, and mentoring to break the cycles of trauma and poverty.

Since its inception, Journey of Hope Inc. has assisted thousands of individuals, achieving a remarkable recidivism rate of just 17% in its prison mentoring program, significantly lower than the state average of 70%.
