Our Story

In 1996, school counselors Hila Pepmiller and Judy Sims recognized a critical need for grief support for children in the Dallas and Collin County area. Inspired by a presentation from the WARM Place, they gathered a dedicated team and established Journey of Hope Grief Support Center Inc. Officially opening its doors in 1998, the organization has since provided no-cost peer grief support to children and families navigating the difficult journey of loss.
