Josephine County Food Bank
EIN: 47-1904505 · Grants Pass, OR
Our Story
The Josephine County Food Bank has been a beacon of hope since 1990, originally part of the Josephine County Community Action Agency. After a funding shift in 2005, the United Community Action Network took the reins, leading to the establishment of Raptor Creek Farm and a new food storehouse in 2010. Today, this independent nonprofit is dedicated to collecting, storing, and distributing food, while also providing fresh produce from its community garden.
Impact
Every month, over 18,000 individuals receive meals, with an impressive annual distribution of 2,100,000 lbs. of food. Each dollar donated translates into three meals for those in need.
