Our Story

John Bellavance lived a prosperous and fulfilling life until it was tragically cut short on July 19, 2012. Known for his incredible spirit, John often expressed his desire to help others, especially those facing the daunting challenges of cancer. His own health struggles opened his eyes to the financial burdens that accompany such a crisis. In his memory, the Jolly Johns Keep You Truckin Fund was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial relief to cancer patients and their families in Eastern Connecticut.

Impact

Over the past 12 years, 283 families have received vital support, with a total of $695,611.02 dispersed to help ease their financial burdens.
