Founded in 1971, it stands as the first interfaith public-interest lobby group in the United States, representing diverse faiths to advocate for social justice.

With over 8,000 dedicated citizens and volunteers, JRLC actively engages in timely action alerts and issue briefings, organizing impactful activities to shape public policy. Their annual event, Day on the Hill, unites hundreds of Minnesotans to advocate for critical social justice issues at the Capitol.
