Founded in 1998 in Boston, JOIN for Justice began as the Jewish Organizing Initiative, created by Michael Brown to empower Jewish young adults through a fellowship program. Over the years, JOIN has evolved, merging successful programs to train leaders committed to justice within and beyond Jewish communities.
JOIN for Justice has trained over 600 seminary students and 242 young adults, equipping them with essential organizing skills. The organization has become a catalyst in the Jewish Social Justice field, fostering a network of leaders dedicated to systemic change and community empowerment.
