Our Story

Founded in 1943 by Louise Treadwell Tracy, the John Tracy Center was inspired by her son John, who was born deaf. This center has transformed from a local clinic into a global leader in providing education and support for families of children with hearing loss. Over the years, JTC has helped nearly half a million children develop essential listening and spoken language skills, enabling them to communicate effectively with their hearing peers.

Impact

With 93% of children in the Parent-Infant program demonstrating progress in Listening and Spoken Language skills, and 100% of preschoolers showing similar advancements, JTC's programs are proven effective in fostering communication skills in children with hearing loss.
