Our Story
Founded in 1953 by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Brown, John Clarke Senior Living began as a modest home for 24 independent residents in Newport. As the needs of the community evolved, the organization expanded its capacity and services, culminating in the establishment of a state-of-the-art Nursing and Retirement Center at 600 Valley Rd in 1980. Today, it stands as a beacon of quality care on Aquidneck Island, deeply rooted in the Baptist community.
