Since its inception in 1999, Jobs Partnership of Florida has been dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by entry-level workers in the Orlando area. Recognizing the growing need for qualified workers amidst a booming economy, a coalition of business and community leaders came together to create innovative solutions. Inspired by a successful model from Raleigh, North Carolina, they launched the LifeWorks training program at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, engaging local churches to recruit job seekers and provide essential soft-skills and career planning training.

Over the years, this initiative has empowered more than 3,000 individuals from under-resourced communities, equipping them with the skills necessary to secure full-time jobs with benefits. The impact of this program extends beyond immediate employment; it fosters economic mobility and stability for participants and their families.
