Our Story

The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, established in 1922, has evolved from the Federation of Jewish Charities in Camden into a vital organization dedicated to enhancing Jewish life and supporting those in need. Serving approximately 50,000 individuals across Camden, Burlington, and Gloucester Counties, the Federation provides essential programs and services through its family of agencies.

Impact

Each year, the Federation raises around $2.5 million through its JFund annual campaign, funding critical initiatives across five Areas of Impact: Older Adults, Special Needs, Global Connections, Community Engagement, and Family & Youth.
