Our Story

Goodman Jewish Family Services of Broward County, established in 1962, has been dedicated to meeting the counseling and support needs of the growing Jewish population in Broward County. Over the years, the organization has expanded its services to address the needs of a diverse community, including programs for Holocaust survivors, seniors, and families facing various challenges. Rooted in Jewish values of dignity and social justice, Goodman JFS is committed to improving the quality of life for all individuals and families.

Impact

Goodman JFS serves an average of 600 Holocaust survivor clients at a time, providing essential support to aging survivors and creating programs that assist thousands of individuals and families facing life's challenges. The organization has also expanded its services to include support for domestic abuse survivors and families of disabled adults.
