Our Story

Before World War II, Rostov was a vibrant center of Jewish culture. Tragically, in 1942, the Nazis attempted to erase this rich heritage in a horrific massacre. Today, 75 years later, the Jewish community of Rostov is experiencing a remarkable revival. With a thriving day school, active synagogue, and essential humanitarian initiatives, the community is rebuilding and flourishing.

Our Impact

Through dedicated grassroots efforts, the Jewish Community of Rostov meets the diverse needs of every Jew in the area. This includes 157 children enrolled in our Jewish Day School, 2,900 hot meals delivered monthly, and support for 210 Holocaust survivors through weekly home visits.
