Our Story
Founded in 1973 by Sister Ruth Wynne and Sister Betty Adams, Jesus House began as a humble storefront in Oklahoma, dedicated to providing food, clothing, shelter, and spiritual guidance to those in need. Over the years, it has evolved into a comprehensive addiction and recovery program, helping countless individuals reclaim their lives.
Our Impact
With a remarkable 73% of residents achieving over a year of sobriety after completing the Life Transformation Program, Jesus House is making a significant difference in the community. In 2019 alone, 36 residents earned their high school diplomas through our GED program, while our food pantry served over 92,000 meals and distributed 7,500 food baskets to families in need.
