Our Story
For over 60 years, Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC) has been a leader in the service landscape, engaging over 100 volunteers annually and boasting a network of over 12,000 alumni. Originating in the 1950s in Alaska, JVC has evolved into a global institution, operating in 37 communities across five countries. This rich history and mission of faith-based service continue to inspire young leaders to make a difference.
