Founded in 1956, Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest (JVC Northwest) has a rich history of service and community engagement. Initially established to support the Copper Valley School in Alaska, JVC Northwest has expanded its reach to serve diverse communities across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Over the decades, thousands of Jesuit Volunteers have dedicated their time and skills to uplift marginalized populations, promote social and ecological justice, and foster intergenerational connections.
