The Jennifer Lynn Snyder Teen Heart Foundation was established in memory of Jenny Snyder, who tragically died from Sudden Cardiac Arrest during a soccer practice due to an undiagnosed heart condition. This foundation is dedicated to protecting youth by placing automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in outdoor recreation areas and raising awareness about the importance of AEDs and CPR.
Over the past 15 years, the foundation has successfully placed AEDs on outdoor fields throughout the Chicagoland area, significantly enhancing the safety of youth participating in sports and recreational activities.
Donations to the foundation directly support the placement of AEDs in community parks and fields, training for emergency response, and raising awareness about Sudden Cardiac Arrest, ultimately saving lives and creating heart-safe communities.
