Our Story

Founded in the Fall of 1945, the Jefferson Township Rescue Squad emerged from the need for emergency medical services in a community near munitions plants and Lake Hopatcong. With the support of local Red Cross-trained individuals and the Stanhope Rescue Squad, this dedicated team became independent in 1972. Today, the squad operates three ambulances and a first responder vehicle, responding to over 840 incidents annually.

Our Impact

Responding to an average of 840+ incidents each year, the Jefferson Township Rescue Squad plays a vital role in ensuring community health and safety.
