Our Story

In February 1977, a dedicated group of parents came together to make Christian education accessible to families in the Steubenville area. This initiative led to the establishment of Jefferson County Christian School, an independent, non-denominational institution. From humble beginnings with just a few grades, JCCS has expanded to offer a complete academic program from Pre-K through 12th grade. Guided by the belief that Jesus Christ is Lord of all, the school aims to serve families by nurturing young disciples of Christ.

Impact

Located in Wintersville, OH, JCCS currently serves 220 full-time students. The school collaborates with Ohio Christian University and the Jefferson County JVS to provide additional support and guidance for students as they transition into their post-secondary careers.
