The VetCTAP program, founded by Sandra Fichter, a former US Army Officer and HR professional, addresses the unique challenges faced by transitioning veterans. Recognizing that many veterans struggle to effectively communicate their skills in resumes, Sandra, along with Sr. Learning and Development expert Janis Whitaker and a team of dedicated HR professionals, developed a comprehensive workshop series. This initiative, which began in 2012, focuses on one-on-one coaching and early intervention for military members before they leave service, ensuring a smooth transition into civilian careers.
