Our Story

In the aftermath of World War II, visionaries from Japan and the United States united to establish a university dedicated to educating global citizens who serve God and humanity. The Japan ICU Foundation was incorporated in New York in 1949 to support this mission, leading to the founding of International Christian University (ICU) in the same year. Today, ICU stands as a beacon of peace and reconciliation, nurturing individuals committed to making a positive impact on the world.
