Founded in 2001 by Ambassador Audrey Marks, Jamaica’s Promise is dedicated to transforming the lives of young people in Jamaica. Inspired by the America’s Promise foundation, this nonprofit organization mobilizes resources to support Jamaican youths aged 0 to 25 who face economic challenges in pursuing education and skill training. Through scholarship funds, fundraising initiatives, and direct mentorship programs, Jamaica’s Promise aims to alleviate social conditions and enhance educational opportunities for at-risk youths.
