Our Story
The Jamaica Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation was founded by American businessmen George Fitch and William Maloney, who saw the potential of Jamaican athletes in bobsledding. Despite facing challenges such as inadequate equipment and limited experience, the team captured the world's attention during the 1988 Winter Olympics, symbolizing determination and resilience. Over the years, the federation has expanded its support, including the establishment of a women's bobsleigh program.
