Our Story

On November 18, 2021, a tragic event took the lives of Justin and Amber Hicks, leaving their two-year-old son, Jacob, without his parents. Justin, a dedicated firefighter for Cherokee County FD, and Amber, an audiologist tech, were beloved members of their community. In their memory, a group of Justin's closest friends from the fire department established Jacobs Pathway Foundation to ensure Jacob's financial needs are met as he grows.

Our Impact

Over the past year and a half, Jacobs Pathway Foundation has recognized the urgent needs of other first responder families facing similar hardships. The foundation is committed to expanding its support to help these families in their time of need.
