Our Story

In 1998, Jacob, a brave little boy with a mere 5% chance of survival from cancer, inspired the creation of Jacob’s Heart Children's Cancer Support Services. Founded by Lori Butterworth, this organization is dedicated to empowering families facing the challenges of pediatric cancer. Over the years, Jacob’s Heart has supported more than 3,367 children and their families, advocating for their needs and ensuring they are informed and empowered throughout their journey.
