Our Story

Founded in 2020 by Ali Bodager, Jacaranda Housing is dedicated to supporting transition-age youth (ages 18-24) who are leaving the foster care system. Inspired by her experiences working with young people in Skid Row, Ali's vision is to create a nurturing environment where these youth can thrive. The name Jacaranda symbolizes beauty in imperfection, reflecting the journey of each young adult we serve.

Our Impact

Jacaranda Housing provides essential life skills, job training, and emotional support to help young adults avoid homelessness and substance abuse. Through our Outreach and upcoming Residential Programs, we empower youth to build a brighter future.
